Design guideline
Since 2008 (and revised from 2016), the "Centre and village centre of Radebeul-Ost" redevelopment area has been subject to a design guideline. It contained the design objectives in the area and had the character of a statute. It lost its validity when the redevelopment statutes were cancelled.
In order to maintain the urban development quality achieved after the cancellation of the redevelopment statutes, the Radebeul city council decided that the existing design guideline should continue to apply as a non-legally binding guideline within the perimeter of the former redevelopment area.
The aim is to provide property owners willing to build with qualified guidelines for refurbishments, conversions and replacement buildings without legal restrictions. This should enable them to avoid mistakes in design from the outset. In this way, the townscape should be preserved in the long term.
The design guideline "Centre and village centre of Radebeul-Ost" has been marginally updated compared to the existing one and laid out in accordance with the new corporate identity (CI) of the town of Radebeul. It has been published as a brochure and is available from the town hall.
