Facility Management Department
The local authority’s building stock is predominantly used to fulfil fundamental municipal functions (schools, nursery schools, administration, public infrastructure). The key responsibilities of the Facility Management department include the implementation of technical and infrastructural property management. The aim is to ensure that the properties are made available in a manner appropriate to their function and use, in line with the requirements of their respective, predominantly public, uses, and to guarantee the technical safety of the properties. The remit also includes the provision of necessary building-related services (e.g. cleaning, maintenance, etc.), caretaker services, and the upkeep of buildings and technical installations.
