One path, many faces: along the Lößnitzbach stream to Moritzburg
Your hike begins at Radebeul-Ost railway station. From there, the trail takes you through the streets of Radebeul, past historic buildings, idyllic vineyards and wineries. Along the Lößnitzbach stream, you reach Friedewald and Moritzburg. The hike ends at Moritzburg Castle.
Your hike begins at Radebeul-Ost railway station. From there, the trail leads you through the streets of Radebeul, past historic buildings, the tourist information centre, the Karl May playground and through the idyllic Karl May Grove. The Karl May Museum is directly on your route. After around 2.0 kilometres and a 32-minute walk, you will reach the foot of the vineyards.
You then ascend into the wine-growing landscape of the Lößnitz slopes. The route runs along the Hoflößnitzstraße and past the Hoflößnitzwinery and wine museum, rewarding you with marvellous views before descending into the Lößnitzgrund.
You continue through the natural landscape in the direction of Moritzburg. The trail takes you along the Dippelsdorf pond, through the undulating landscape of small hills near Moritzburg and finally to Moritzburg Castle, where your hike ends.

Please note: due to construction work in the Lößnitzgrund area, the Lößnitz Trail is currently only accessible via a signposted diversions.
