Martin Schwarz and Grit Geißler, both perfectionists, tend 2.2 hectares of steep slopes along the Saxon Wine Route in Radebeul, Meissen, Diesbar-Seußlitz and Merbitz with loving care and meticulous attention to detail. Alongside vines of Riesling and Traminer that are nearly 30 years old, they also grow French Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Since 2013, the wines have been matured at their own estate, the Weinmanufaktur Meissen. Maturation takes place in new and used wooden barrels, with the aim of creating distinctive wines that impress with their complexity and finesse.
