Closure of the Elbe cycle path in the area from Altserkowitz to Panzerstraße

As part of the third construction phase of the Lößnitzbach complex project (relocation of the long-distance gas pipeline, construction of the confluence of the relocated Lößnitzbach into the Elbe and the associated Elbe cycle path bridge), the Elbe cycle path will be closed from Monday, 30 March 2026 until probably April 2027 in the section from Altserkowitz to Panzerstraße.
A more extensive diversion (via Serkowitzer Straße, Wasastraße, Oststraße, Kauflandweg, Weintraubenstraße, Panzerstraße) will be signposted so that cyclists can continue to cycle safely around the affected area.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoid the overlap with the closure of Kötzschenbrodaer Straße due to a mandatory deadline for the necessary reconnection of the long-distance gas pipeline.
We ask all road users and residents for their understanding for the resulting restrictions.
