Take part as an exhibitor now – 6th Skilled Workers’ Fair “Come & Stay – MY Region”

New opportunities arise when skilled workers and businesses engage in face-to-face dialogue. This is precisely what the ‘Kommen & Bleiben – MEIne ReGion’ skills fair is all about. The district of Meißen, together with its network partners, cordially invites businesses and institutions to attend on 28 December 2026.

Last year’s event was a great success: more than 550 visitors attended the fair to find out about jobs, training opportunities and career prospects in the region. For companies, this means plenty of conversations in a single day, direct contact with interested individuals and the chance to present their own company in person.

In 2026, the fair will once again take place in the sports hall of the Meißen-Radebeul Vocational Training Centre (Goethestraße 21 | 01662 Meißen). Thanks to the larger exhibition space, more companies and institutions will be able to take part. All exhibitors will be showcased together in a single space – fostering more encounters, short distances and a trade fair atmosphere that can be experienced by exhibitors and visitors alike.

The skilled trades fair is supported by Wirtschaftsförderung Region Meißen GmbH, the Dresden Chamber of Crafts, the Dresden Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Meißen Region District Craftsmen’s Association and the Riesa Job Centre. Together, the partners are committed to retaining skilled workers in the region, encouraging people to return to the district and showing young people attractive career prospects in their home region.
