The anticipation is building: from 6 to 7 June 2026, the area between the Luther Church, Karl May Grove and Karl May Museum will become a paradise for puppet theatre fans young and old.

For the 39th time, the "Kasperiade" invites you to a festival full of fantasy, creativity and joie de vivre - and with a new face.

The cheerful hero of joy

He is cheeky, charming and has what it takes to become a new favourite: For the 39th Punch and Judy Show, the town of Radebeul is presenting an approachable and mischievous Punch. He was created by illustrator Sylvia Graupner, whose unmistakable style gives the funny hero a completely new personality.

The Annaberg-born artist, who is known for her imaginative and original illustrations, has redesigned Punch for this year's Kasperiade with great attention to detail.

He is funny, inviting and arouses curiosity. The new Punch speaks directly to the children, radiates joy and at the same time opens the door to dreams. The result is a Punch with a cheeky face, open arms and a warm-hearted charisma that makes him instantly likeable.

The cheerful hero is the ideal host for a festival that has been making the hearts of visitors young and old beat faster for almost four decades.
