In 2007, seven residents of Radebeul with a deep passion for the town’s cultural life founded the Förderverein Internationales Wandertheaterfestival e.V. to support the International Travelling Theatre Festival. Today, the association has 57 members – theatre enthusiasts from Radebeul and the surrounding area – who are committed in various ways to preserving the artistic standard, the unique atmosphere and the exuberant joy of the festival.
As part of the International Travelling Theatre Festival, the association releases a special edition wine every year. The fine wines come from a different winegrower in the Saxon Elbe region each year.
The label for this limited edition of 350 bottles is designed by different artists each year to match the festival’s theme and is lovingly applied by hand to the wine bottles by the association’s members.
