Press conference with a photo opportunity to tie in with "L´amore"

Today, 2 September 2026, the press conference for the 34th Autumn and Wine Festival, featuring the 29th International Travelling Theatre Festival, took place at the "Golden Anker" Hotel.

Bert Wendsche (Mayor of Radebeul) opened the press conference and emphasised the festival’s importance as a cultural flagship for the town.

Dr Gabriele Lorenz (Head of the Radebeul Cultural Office), who is responsible for overall organisational coordination, presented the festival’s new features.

Björn Reinemer (Artistic Director of the festival), who is responsible for the festival’s artistic direction, set the tone for the diverse and exciting programme.

Luise Puhlmann (37th Saxon Wine Queen) represented the Saxon wine region, spoke about her new role as Wine Queen and extended an invitation to this year’s Autumn and Wine Festival.

César Olhagaray presented his Play Art artwork "Expésate – Fire Triplets" and spoke about his return to his homeland.

Bacchus, the god of wine (Sascha Graedtke), provided the final entertainment with his performance as the god of wine.

All in all, a successful afternoon: bathed in perfect sunshine on the picturesque vineyard terrace of the "Goldener Anker%$ hotel, the press conference drew to a close in a relaxed atmosphere – and anticipation for the 34th Autumn and Wine Festival, featuring the XXIXth International Travelling Theatre Festival has now officially been ignited.
