A new special edition wine has been labelled

Yesterday, 17 August 2026, 350 bottles of the special edition ‘Kerner 2025’ Saxon regional wine were labelled at the Kretschko wine cellar.

The special edition, bottled by A.R. Kretschko, is being presented this year at the 29th International Travelling Theatre Festival.

Inspired by the festival’s motto, ‘L’amore’, the artist César Olhagaray designed the special label, which impressively highlights the connection between wine and art.

Filled with fascination and passion for the annual travelling theatre spectacle,
the Friends’ Association welcomes guests to the 29th International
Travelling Theatre Festival. Nearly 50 members of the association have come together in the spirit of the International Travelling Theatre to bring the colourful hustle and bustle – on stilts, in squares and meadows, in courtyards, at lofty heights or in a tent – to life for everyone to experience.

As enthusiastic lovers of street theatre, we wish to preserve the wonderful interplay between wine and art and offer our support to continue this connection and constantly reinvent it. Our special edition, limited to 350 bottles, builds on precisely this
connection.

Do come and enjoy a fruity, mineral 2025 Kerner from Andreas Kretschko at the Friends’ Association stand. This year, we were delighted to
César Olhagaray was commissioned to design the artist’s label. He has taken up the motto ‘L’amore’ and has aptly
staged it.
