From 15/05/2026 to 17/05/2026, the city of Radebeul invites you to the 33rd Karl May Festival:

It doesn't matter whether the Karl May Festival lets the horse run away with you, you give up the reins or you put the cart before the horse. At the Karl May Festival, you are always "firmly in the saddle" on your ride along the Wild West in the Lößnitzgrund and through the Karl May Museum. The spirit of Karl May swings from the "Villa Shatterhand" to Little Tombstone, through the Little Feather and up to the Star Rider Camp. Western flair sparks like sparks in the hooves of the horse shows and country music immerses you and your whole family in a true Wild West mood weekend.

Stay tuned, because we've got a hearty adventure programme lined up for you - for little cowboys in a gold rush, dressed-up ladies in hoop skirts or dusty rogues with (or without) smoking guns. The saddle is lashed down, the saloon is well stocked - now all that's missing is you!
