The Legal and Regulatory Office warns against the company "Haus Garten Bau Daniel"", which is offering numerous tradesmen's services, including interior work, drywall construction, paving, tiling and painting work, via direct mail. Following investigations, the office assumes that the company is acting fraudulently. This was preceded by corresponding information from affected citizens of Radebeul.

This company is not based at the address given in the direct mailings, Hauptstr. 26 in 01445 Radebeul. In addition, there is no business registration and the company owner has no registered address.

Among other things, the company had pressurised those affected to such an extent that they had paid for manual work before it was actually completed. In addition, the costs would have doubled in the course of the work, which is also said to have been carried out unprofessionally.

In this context, the Legal and Public Order Office expressly warns against doorstep selling and points out that clients should always obtain written estimates and invoices for work from tradesmen.
