33rd Radebeul Autumn and Wine Festival

03.09.2025

Under the motto "Fire, water and trumpets", visitors can expect an extraordinary spectacle at the 33rd Autumn and Wine Festival, which will take place together with the 28th International Travelling Theatre Festival from 19 to 21 September 2025. Blazing fire, Saxon wine culture and fascinating street art merge into an experience full of passion, rhythm and joie de vivre. This year's Radebeul Autumn and Wine Festival combines the fascination of the elements and invites you to immerse yourself in a world full of unique experiences.
The village green in Altkötzschenbroda is transformed into a lively stage and presents a varied programme centred around Saxon wine culture. Under the motto "Fire, Water & Trumpets", visitors celebrate three days of art, theatre, music and wine in a unique, family-friendly atmosphere.
Highlights include the award-winning acrobatics show with trapeze, vertical rope and human pyramids by "Common Ground", "El Goma" with its humorous slapstick comedy "Wonderland", the children's theatre "Where does the worm live?" and improvised theatre sports, in which spontaneous scenes are created on demand.
Visitors can also expect a wide range of music. These include Latin American rhythms, salsa classics, nostalgic sounds and jazz music that resound through the courtyards. On Sunday evening, the Finale Grande on the Elbe meadows crowns the festival with a fire and theatre spectacle and the presentation of the audience award.
It is also a feast for the senses for all wine lovers in the region. More than 40 wine taverns and farms in Altkötzschenbroda open their doors and invite you to a lively tasting adventure of Saxon wines - including the venerable Saxon State Winery Schloss Wackerbarth, the picturesque Hoflößnitz and the traditional Saxon Winegrowers' Co-operative Meissen. In addition, the Friends of the Travelling Theatre Festival are presenting a special limited edition of wine with a label by Radebeul artist Ralf Uhlig that reflects the festival's motto. The first-class Riesling from ZiegenWein is available at the association's stand on the village green.
This year will also be an eventful and special year for all families and children. The new hands-on activities, which are a very exciting highlight, will create pure happiness and magic at the same time!
For example, the "ESELNEST" adventure playground offers donkey rides, a funfair tree and numerous surprises that will remain unforgettable. In the lounge, children can make buttons or design puppets, while Jakoba Schönbrodt-Rühl's sing-along choir invites them to make music together. The art installation "Exprésate - Kollo Kollo" by Muriel Cornejo and César Olhagaray also encourages creative participation.
Immerse yourself in a fascinating and unforgettable world full of art, culture and theatre and enjoy the unique atmosphere of community, enjoyment and inspiring moments. Look forward to three days of musical entertainment, 32 ensembles, orchestras, soloists, choirs from all over the world and 300 artists from 16 nations.
