Once again this year, the rides were particularly popular with young and old alike. The muscle-powered nostalgia carousel spun to the oriental-Celtic music of Adaya, blurring the hustle and bustle of the festival in the heart of the historic village green into a colourful veil. Visitors found relaxation and cosiness among the trees on the orchard meadow. Amidst the installation "La Mer" by Chilean artists Muriel Cornejo and César Olhagaray, they were able to surrender to the flowing movements of the magical water creatures and let their thoughts fly while listening to relaxing music on bales of straw.
The most magical moment of the festival weekend culminated on Sunday evening with the presentation of the audience award of the International Travelling Theatre Festival and the fiery "Finale Grande", when the legendary wooden sculpture labyrinth - created by Richard von Gigantikow and his international team of artists - impressively burst into flames on the banks of the Elbe.
