
The easiest way to reach Radebeul is via the A4 highway. If you are approaching from Chemnitz/Leipzig you should leave the motorway at the Radebeul-Coswig exit. If you are traveling from Berlin you should also come off at this exit. From there follow the signs to Radebeul.

Take the S1 suburban railway to Radebeul from Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station) or Dresden Neustadt station. You have the option of alighting at Radebeul-Ost, Radebeul-West or Radebeul-Zitzschewig.

Take the S2 suburban railway from Dresden Airport to Dresden Neustadt station. At Dresden Neustadt change on to the S1 to Radebeul. Radebeul can also be reached by taking local bus number 80 in the direction of Omsewitz. At the Boxdorf "Am Grunde" stop change onto bus number 72 in the direction of Dresden Elbepark.

Radebeul is the ideal starting point for a number of excursions in the surrounding region, all of which are inexpensively and easily accessible by local public transport. Tickets are valid on all tram, bus and suburban railway lines in the selected tariff zone. Meissen, Dresden, Dresden-Klotzsche Airport and the Saxon Switzerland can be reached by suburban railway, which runs every 30 minutes.
You can also get to Dresden by taking tram no. 4. During the day this tram runs every ten minutes. Tickets can be purchased at machines operated by the Dresdener Verkehrsbetriebs AG (Dresden Public Transportation Service), from the German Railways and the Radebeul Tourist Information center.
