Schloss Proschwitz Winery is Saxony’s oldest private winery and has stood for the highest quality of wine and a living tradition of viticulture for generations. As a member of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates (VDP), we meet the highest quality standards and manage our vineyards in accordance with the guidelines of organic viticulture. Our vines grow on the historic sites of Schloss Proschwitz, Kloster Heilig Kreuz and Seußlitzer Closterberg, and benefit from the unique granite soils. With great care – from hand-harvesting to ageing in the wine cellar – we produce organic wines full of character that reflect their granite origins and their distinctive character.

Our wine shop is open daily from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm. We would be delighted to welcome you for a wine tasting and invite you to discover our winery and the special atmosphere of Schloss Proschwitz.

The interplay of terroir, craftsmanship and passion makes our wines authentic ambassadors of Saxon viticulture.
