DR3I - THR3E
Puppet theatre by Calum MacAskill
World premiere | from 4 years | English version from 9 years
Who hasn't heard the story of the three little pigs? But what does this story have to do with three bears and three billy goats? That's right: the number three. One, two, three little stories with three different culprits: the wolf, Goldilocks and a troll. With a lot of humour and playfulness, the puppeteer investigates what the three stories have in common and discovers many differences, for example between small and large, light and heavy, hot and cold or fragile and stable. And suddenly, the audience is involved in the action. Together with the puppeteer, the children find out what happens next. In the process, they are playfully introduced to counting and describing opposites.
Great fun for young children in German and for older children in English.
What does the story of the three little pigs have in common with three bears, and three goats? That's right: the number three. One, two, three little stories with three different bad guys: the wolf, Goldilocks and a troll. Using jokes and joy, the puppet player tries to find out what exactly is the same - and what is different. He will find many differences, too, between small and big, light and heavy, hot and cold or weak and strong. Only for the audience to suddenly get taken along for the ride! Together with the puppeteer, they will find out what happens next. They look at the nature of things and are playfully introduced to the English language, learning to describe quantities, animals and opposites. What a great time learning the English language can be!
