A really cool Christmas
A really cool Christmas
A rat-a-tat Christmas
Puppentheater
In her satirical song programme ‘A Rat-tastic Christmas’, theatre rat Ursula von Rätin reflects on the oddities of human Christmas traditions. For years, she has been observing the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle at the Christmas market from her rat’s-eye view. With sharp wit and insight, she analyses what it’s all about. In the process, she has accumulated a whole host of questions that she finally wants to talk about…
Why does everyone suddenly rush off to church and get teary-eyed at the sound of organ music? Why are the main meals eaten at the Christmas market? Is the wallet for presents really that loose in your pocket? Do you suddenly find yourself loving your mother-in-law after all? And is your boss perhaps not such a complete jerk after all, despite cutting the Christmas bonus?
…and she comes to the astonishing realisation: WE SIMPLY LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
But she’s also got plenty of really good tips for us – for example, how to gracefully get rid of unwanted Christmas presents.
