Next Friday, 22 September 2023 at 7.30 pm, Frank Kreisler will present his latest book at the Radebeul Ost City Library.
Frank Kreisler, born in Rostock, has lived in Leipzig since 1985, where he studied at the Literature Institute. His latest book, "Wand an Wand mit einer Leiche" (Wall to wall with a corpse), describes true criminal cases that took place in and around Leipzig. After the end of the GDR, many things changed and the previously unthinkable suddenly became possible. In 1990, a prisoner never returned from prison leave and travelled through the reunified country with a corpse in the boot of his car. Criminal gangs sprang up like poisonous mushrooms, gangsters had easy access to weapons and were not short of murders. One particularly serious case could only be solved with the help of the FBI. Frank Kreisler has written about 13 well-researched, authentic cases for this book.
