Honouring volunteers
13.07.2022
On Monday, 11 July 2022, volunteers were once again honoured for their commitment. This year, the focus was on culture, the environment and general social support.
As in the previous year, the awards ceremony took place at Radebeul's Kultur-Bahnhof. Honourees and nominees were invited and received their awards in the presence of Mayor Bert Wendsche.
Dr Gabriele Lorenz, Head of the Department of Culture, and Anja von Bahder from the Radebeul Family Initiative gave the laudatory speeches. Alona Liakh provided the musical entertainment.
The following committed people were honoured:
- Sabine Papke for her commitment and voluntary work in the Lößnitzchor Radebeul e. V.
- Volkmar Kretzschmar for his commitment and voluntary work in the Radebeul male choir "Liederkranz 1844"
- Martin Fiedler for his many years of commitment to the Astroclub Radebeul e. V.
- Dietmar Hummig for his commitment to the Traditionsbahnverein Radebeul e. V.

- Christin Hedrich for her commitment to KulturLoge Dresden V.
- Cornelia Reichstein for integrating people with disabilities into projects in a family atmosphere
