Start of shell construction work for new Schillerhort
21.10.2019
Now that the construction company LLB GmbH, a specialist company for gardening and landscaping from Dresden, has cleared the 4,095 m² site on the corner of Pestalozzistraße and Schildenstraße and the archaeologists have completed their work, the shell construction work for the new after-school care centre building can begin on time on 21 October 2019.
The company HTB Hoch- und Tiefbau Rochlitz GmbH from Rochlitz was awarded the contract for the earthworks and shell construction work in the amount of € 961,284.94.
The new two-storey building will be erected in solid construction on a reinforced concrete slab and has polygonal dimensions of approx. 50 metres in length and 35 metres in width.
Around €4.5 million will be required for the entire construction project, of which around 75% will be funded via the federal and state programme "Aktive Stadt- und Ortsteilzentren" (SOP). The building planned by O + M Architekten GmbH from Dresden and the outdoor facilities planned by LOR Landschaftsarchitekten Otto + Richter PartGmbB from Dresden will provide care for around 160 after-school children from the Friedrich Schiller primary school at Pestalozzistraße 13a once it is completed in the first quarter of 2021.
