Information on the availability of the flood hazard and risk maps for the Elbe at Radebeul (km 30-85)
The State Dam Administration of the Free State of Saxony has handed over the flood hazard and risk maps of the Elbe for the city of Radebeul to the city of Radebeul. The maps provide information on the areas affected by flooding and the extent of the hazards and risks.
The maps and the report with its appendices can also be inspected at the Radebeul City Council, Technical Town Hall, 01445 Radebeul, Pestalozzistr. 8, with Mr Queißer in room 1.10, or a representative during general office hours (Mondays to Fridays 9.00 to 12.00 (except Wednesdays) and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13.00 to 18.00).
Flood hazard types for recurrence intervals of:
- 20 years (an event that occurs 10 times in 200 years on a long-term average) HQ20
- 50 years (an event that occurs 4 times in 200 years on a long-term average) HQ50
- 100 years (an event that occurs twice in 200 years on a long-term average) HQ100
- 200 years (an event that occurs once in 200 years on a long-term average) HQ200
