Desabafo no Pé

Desabafo no Pé inspires with the rousing energy of Brazilian Forró - and invites everyone to share this passion!

The band name (desabafar = let off steam, no pé = with your feet) reflects their concept: expressing feelings through music and dance. The band combines Brazilian culture from the north-east with personal expression.

The trio impresses with energetic shows that combine tradition and innovation, whether they are new to Forró or experienced dancers. In 2023/24, the band toured 10 European countries, including festivals such as Paléo (Switzerland), Teatro Munganga (Netherlands) and Sommerfest (Austria).

• Zina Bloch (France) - sanfona/accordion:
  She breathes life into the forró with gripping melodies and solos.

• Mamá Suen (Brazil) - Zabumba & Pandeiro:
  Her pulsating rhythm gets everyone moving.

• Melissa Morcote (Colombia) - Triangle & more:
  With an unmistakable groove, she further enriches the music with transverse flute, agogô, ganzá and the traditional guacharaca.

A homage to the roots of Forró - and at the same time a celebration of its lively development!
