Indian and Western Club Old Manitou Radebeul
The Old Manitou Indian and Western Club was founded in 1956.
Since then, it has been involved in cultural and ethnological work on the subject of North America, mainly in the period from the 18th to the 19th century.
The club currently has 25 members who, together with their families, keep the club alive. The numerous public events of the past have declined due to the ageing membership. Nevertheless, our aim is to find new members and supporters who will strengthen us in our work.
We currently have 4 fixed events a year, which we organise in a historical outfit and which are of course very well received. These are our annual season opening, the prairie meeting of trappers and Indians, the Indian Day and the autumn meeting, a military white tent camp.
Guests and interested parties are very welcome.
