Guided wine hike on the Friedstein including a 4-person tasting
The tour takes you past hidden vineyards on the Friedstein. Experience marvellous views over the Elbe valley and learn interesting facts about the wine landscape in Radebeul, the grape varieties and the work of the winegrower. A special highlight is an explanation of pruning on the vine.
From the meeting point in front of the Schloss Wackerbarth adventure winery, the tour takes you to a hidden private vineyard. Along the way, you will see beautiful winegrowers' houses as well as the former 1st Saxon sparkling wine cellar "Bussard". Marvellous vantage points let your gaze wander over the Elbe valley. You will get to know a popular wine tavern (refreshments available when open) and also come to the public observatory. From there you can see the Jacobstein, another destination of the wine hike. Via the stone staircase, the "Himmelsleiter" (ladder to heaven), you descend again to the Schloss Wackerbarth state winery.
