Hidden vineyards and idyllic winery in Zitzschewig
The tour takes you past hidden vineyards through an old wine-growing village to an idyllically situated wine-growing farm. You will be rewarded with fantastic views and learn interesting facts about the wine landscape in Radebeul, the grape varieties and the winemaker's work. A special highlight is an explanation of pruning the vines.
From the meeting point in Radebeul-Zitzschewig, our route takes us to a wine-growing village steeped in history. Passing St John's Chapel, we continue on to the educational wine trail. An easy but steadily ascending path leads to a clearing and finally to the Rößler wine farm, which invites you to linger. The way back leads us through the picturesque Rietzschkegrund, past vineyards, Haus Kynast and Krapenburg, both former wineries, back to our starting point.
