School starters soon back on the road

The new school year is just around the corner. This weekend, 296 first-graders will receive their sugar cones and start school.
In the five state primary schools in Radebeul and the private Protestant primary school, 13 first classes are starting their schooling:
- Friedrich Schiller primary school: 3 first classes with 69 pupils
- Oberlößnitz primary school: 2 first classes with 49 pupils
- Niederlößnitz primary school: 3 first classes with 63 pupils
- Kötzschenbroda primary school: 2 first classes with 39 pupils
- Naundorf primary school: 2 first classes with 52 pupils
- Protestant primary school: 1 first class with 24 pupils

We ask all road users, especially in the first few weeks, to be considerate of first-year schoolchildren as "newcomers to traffic" and to pay more attention when travelling.
Over the next few days, the police and municipal enforcement officers will be carrying out more speed checks in front of primary schools.
