City archive
Now that the Radebeul municipal archives have been relocated to the interim location at Meißner Str. 191 in Radebeul, archiving services can be offered again. Unfortunately, this is only possible to a limited extent due to the necessary division of the archive material. Answering enquiries has also been resumed in the meantime. The city archive can be contacted again by e-mail and telephone. However, enquiries should always be submitted in writing, preferably by e-mail.
The current processing time for enquiries is currently 3-4 weeks. Due to limited on-site facilities, files can only be accessed in person by prior appointment. Therefore, please refrain from spontaneous visits to the city archives.
The City Archive team would like to thank you for your understanding.
The town archive is a public institution of the town of Radebeul. It secures, takes over, organises and records the written material created in the offices that is no longer required for current business transactions and must be kept for legal, historical, cultural or other reasons. Based on the current legal situation of the Saxon Archive Act and the existing archive statutes, the archive holdings enable the legal certainty and transparency of administrative action.
Since December 2023, the Interim City Archive has been housed in the premises of the former "Pharmapark Radebeul" (Meißner Straße 191 House 2), where it accommodates the interim archive, the civil status documents and large parts of the building file registry.
