In the restored premises of the historical warehouse that goes by the name of "eventLOKation," the traditional and the modern are combined in harmonious and stylish ways. The SSB narrow-gauge railway museum of Radebeul has been developed in this former warehouse. The non-profit company, Museums GmbH limited is run by the Association for the Promotion of Saxon Narrow-Gauge Railways, and the Traditionsbahn Radebeul e.V. society. Slowly but surely a permanent exhibition of regional narrow-gauge railway history is emerging, which includes several two-axle carriages (registered as historical monuments), as well as the IV K 99 604 locomotive which has been returned from Bochum. The old warehouse building is the ideal place to host this exhibition. In the past, goods belonging to Radebeul traders and companies were reloaded on to railways with narrow and normal track width here. Today it is a hub for people wishing to experience history and culture.

Thanks to the support of private sponsors and the Transport Museum in Dresden the first special exhibition titled, "The Saxon IK - Rebirth of a Locomotive Legend" opened in 2007. In addition to the regular opening times, personal guided tours can be arranged by prior appointment.
The events area of the warehouse with its integrated stage is ideal for conferences as well as presentations, receptions and festive evening events for up to 300 people. The historic narrow-gauge trains positioned throughout the building can be hired individually for functions, and they add a special touch to any event.
Tip: The Lößnitzgrundbahn railway that runs between Radebeul via Moritzburg to Radeburg stops directly in front of the historic warehouse. Visit the museum during your next trip, or include the narrow-gauge railway with "lots of steam" in your next event.

An annual highlight for the whole family is the SSB narrow-gauge railway festival at Radebeul Ost station.
