Come along for the ride ...
... for a trip full of nostalgia, and experience the romance of steam railways on the Lößnitzgrund railway.

The Lößnitzgrund railway commenced service in 1884 as the fourth Saxon narrow-gauge railway, and it has steamed its way between Radebeul and Radeburg ever since. The 16.6 km track guides the train past 11 stations and stops, and over 19 bridges.
The journey begins in Radebeul on the outskirts of Dresden. The train winds its way through the picturesque Lößnitzgrund at a leisurely pace before it reaches the Moritzburg forest and pond region. The most impressive part of the trip is when the "Lößnitz dachshund", as the train is affectionately known by local residents, crosses the Dippelsdorf pond via a 210 m long dam. Moritzburg marks the halfway point on the journey. From here the train continues through the villages of Cunnertswalde, Bärnsdorf, and Berbisdorf before reaching its final destination, Heinrich Zille's hometown of Radeburg.
